Nolan recently premiered "We are the ones to heal our land," a justice-themed pop anthem commissioned by Choral Arts Society of Washington and Washington Performing Arts for their annual "Living the Dream, Singing the Dream" MLK concert.
In May of 2022, Nolan's NEWorks Philharmonic Orchestra & NEWorks Voices of America joined the Choral Arts Society to perform a critically-acclaimed, east coast premiere of composer Damien Geter’s "An African American Requiem". In December 2022, Nolan produced the opening performance for the Smithsonian Institution's inaugural National Conversation on Race. The performance featured the NEWorks Voices of America performing selections from Nolan's touring concert production, STIRRING THE WATERS ACROSS AMERICA.

Nolan's musical GRACE had its world premiere at the historic Ford's Theatre in Washington, D.C. from March 19 to May 14, 2022.

Nolan recently premiered "The Plains of Peace," a choral piece commissioned in celebration of the Fairfax Choral Society's 60th Anniversary. The performance took place at Capital One Hall on March 11, 2023.
On Saturday, July 9, 2022, Nolan hosted The Kennedy Center's first-ever colloquium celebrating African American foodways, headlined by the incomparable chef Carla Hall, with tastings curated by Hall, celebrity chef Rock Harper, and more. A highlight of the occasion was the presentation of the inaugural Grace Awards honoring extraordinary leadership and exceptional works that celebrate and elevate African American culinary traditions in the spirit of GRACE, the musical. The inaugural recipients are: Virginia Ali, owner of Ben's Chili Bowl; Dr. Lance London, owner of Carolina Kitchen; and Dr. Erinn Tucker Oluwole and Furard Tate, co-founders of DMV Black Restaurant Week.

In late February, Nolan curated a week-long performance series at the Dr. Phillips Center in Orlando, Florida. 6th & Jazz, presented in collaboration with NEWorks Productions, introduced 15,000 sixth graders in Orange and Osceola Counties to the jazz genre!

For a third consecutive year, Nolan scripted Mayor Muriel Bowser's awards gala honoring DC’s vibrant creative community and patrons of the arts and humanities. This event took place at the historic Lincoln Theatre on Thursday, September 28, 2023, and will air soon on DCTV.
Nolan recently moderated a panel discussion for the opening of Georgetown University's new Center for the Study of Slavery and Its Legacies. DC Full Democracy Champions Luncheon... In commemoration of DC Emancipation Day, Nolan produced Mayor Muriel Bowser's Full Democracy Champions Luncheon. The event, organized by the Secretary of State of the District of Columbia, Kimberly Bassett, featured a keynote address by Laphonza Butler, president of EMILY's List, and remarks by City Councilwoman Christina Henderson, Attorney General Brian Schwalb, and more.
