Nolan has been commissioned by the Children's Chorus of Washington to create a new choral work in honor of CCW’s 30th anniversary.
The work, titled "I've Learned to Sing," will be premiered on Sunday, June 7, 2026. Stay tuned for more information.
Nolan has been invited to be a presenter at the 112th Hampton University Ministers Conference this June. He will lead a workshop for the 14th Church Development and Leadership Academy (CDLA) titled "Just Like Selma: Music as Cultural Memory & Social Movement."
Joining Nolan for this presentation will be Rev. Dr. Brenda Girton Mitchell, Lead Consultant, Just Like Selma National Civic Engagement Campaign and Dr. Courtney-Savali Andrews, Assistant Professor of African American and African Diasporic Musics, Oberlin College.
