Produced in 2013, "Reflections on Peace: From Gandhi to King" was a two-day concert series that commemorated the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington,
Day one featured an intimate evening of music and reflections at the residence of the Ambassador of India to the United States. Co-curated by Nolan and the Honorable Nirapoma Rao, former Ambassador of India to the United States, the program explored the connection between Martin Luther King, Jr. and Mahatma Gandhi with performances by the NEWorks Voices of Inspiration and Sri Lankan pianist Soundarie David Rodrigo.
Day two boasted a candlelight global concert for peace on The National Mall with performances by an inspiring slate of international artists: Soundarie David Rodrigo, Vidya & Vandan Iyer, Mogezi Ntaka, Nistha Raj, Shankar Tucker, Patrick Washington of POEM-CEES, and jazz pianist extraordinaire Jon Batiste. The program was headlined by Stellar Award winning artist Byron Cage with the NEWorks Voices of America Choir.
